Jokes for all
Feel free to browse the collection of tall tales, yarns and downright lies. They are all family safe - the test I apply is "would I tell this to someone's grandmother?" If no, I don't use it. (That doesn't mean i don't appreciate a dirty joke, but I don't think they're appropriate for broadcast on the radio - you never know who is listening or how old they are or what their attitudes to dirty jokes amounts to. )
Sports
They are sitting on the couch, in front of the tv, holding hands, feeling loving and comfortable with each other's company, as they have for a long time now. Each with a glass of champagne in their hands. The kids are safely tucked up in bed asleep. He smiles that smile that attracted her to him in the first place all those years ago, and holds up his glass - a clink as they touch the glasses together in a quiet toast to each other. Lovingly he says to her, "Darling, is there anything you want to say to me, before the football season starts?"
